AGROIMPACT is a bold vision that has been fully integrated into the national strategy "Guatemala Moving Forward," recognizing agriculture and agribusiness as essential pillars for increasing the country’s exports. This strategy reflects our collective commitment to leading Guatemala toward a prosperous and developed future by 2030, highlighting the crucial role of agribusiness in our path to progress.
Our goal is to double exports by 2030 by promoting and diversifying agribusiness products through a comprehensive approach—avoiding fragmented actions and fostering agricultural development through global value chain systems based on product-specific strategies.
Increase the growth of our exports from $6.8K to $13.6K over a 7-year period.
Integrate global value chains based on product-specific systems.
Boost productivity through agro-industrial research, innovation, and technological development.
Ensure product admissibility to access new markets
Promote flagship projects focused on new and sophisticated products with high potential.
We face significant challenges that require the commitment of agricultural and agro-industrial producers to drive value creation, increase exports, and improve income for both small and large producers. This involves integrating into value chains through the use of technology, research, and innovation. In addition, it is crucial to foster value-adding processes through industrial transformation, enhance logistics and post-harvest handling, and open up new markets, among other key areas.
We seek to build public-private partnerships to develop and promote activity in the agricultural sector, creating favorable conditions for micro, small, and medium-sized producers.
This includes promoting financing and credit access, as well as active government participation in the development of public goods, such as irrigation systems, ports, and airports. We have strategic products that, with proper transformation, can generate significant progress.
At AGROIMPACT, we are committed to the development and transformation of Guatemala’s agro-industry, working together to achieve a future full of opportunity and prosperity for all
